Nokia's upcoming android phone X has been spotted at a Vietnamese retailer with its specs in tow and now new details on the smartphone has just surfaced online. However, the smartphone will come with Nokia Store and 3rd party apps onboard instead of Google Play or any other Google apps and services. Furthermore, the smartphone is said to offer dual-SIM support and a decent 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports WVGA resolution. In addition, Nokia X will be equipped with a 1GHz dual-core Cortex-A5 processor, probably Qualcomm Snapdragon 200, which is complemented by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. Obviously, actual storage available will be much lower, but it’s been confirmed Nokia X will pack microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB. Nokia X will feature a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and video recording, but the smartphone will not pack a secondary front-facing camera for video calls. Last but not least, the Nokia’s Android smartphone will be available in six color options and will be powered by a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery. There are no mentions of any Android versions, but the Vietnamese retailer listed the Nokia X as shipping with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box. Previous rumors claimed the smartphone will run a custom Android version which will lack most, if not all, Google’s apps and services. Instead, Nokia is said to offer its own ecosystem where users will be able to download and install dedicated apps. Nokia Store might replace Google Play, so Nokia X users won’t have access to all the apps available on Google’s applications store.
